Mumbai-based fintech startup BriskPe, specializing in cross-border payments, has partnered with private sector bank Yes Bank to introduce BriskPe A2A, a cutting-edge toolkit designed to support both exporters and importers.

This partnership streamlines the process for BriskPe's clients to receive payments in over 36 foreign currencies from more than 180 countries.

The received funds can be swiftly converted into Indian Rupees (INR) and directly deposited into their local Indian bank accounts within a single business day, according to the startup.

This collaboration marks a significant step forward in international payments, providing a streamlined and effective platform for Indian exporters to expertly navigate the complexities of global trade, thereby enhancing their global presence, as stated by the startup.

Founded in 2023 by Sanjay Tripathy, Indunath Chaudhary, and Nilesh Pathak, BriskPe aims to revolutionize global payments for SMBs.

The fintech startup offers comprehensive solutions that guarantee cost-efficiency, speed, accessibility, improved payment tracking, and unwavering bank-grade compliance.

BriskPe, with its subsidiary BriskPe Technologies Inc. based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, operates in compliance with the guidelines established by the Reserve Bank of India's OPGSP. The startup's goal is to transform payment processes for small and medium enterprises.

Ajay Rajan, Country Head of Digital and Transaction Banking at Yes Bank, commented, "The product resulting from the collaboration between YES BANK and BriskPe underscores the Bank's commitment to innovation and promoting export growth".

Built on YES BANK OPGSP Export APIs, the product is set to redefine the landscape of international trade with features such as real-time transaction processing and instant eFIRA generation.

Through this, the bank also aims to contribute to the government's objective of boosting the MSME sector and transforming India into a global export powerhouse.

Sanjay Tripathy, Co-founder & CEO of BriskPe, stated, "BriskPe is leading the charge in reshaping the cross-border payments landscape, reimagining how Indian MSMEs participate in global trade".

Our suite of solutions goes beyond mere efficiency enhancement; it aims to empower Indian businesses to thrive on the international stage.
