India has won both Test matches of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. During the second innings of the second Test match, Virat Kohli completed a crucial milestone of 25,000 international runs, but was dismissed for a score of 20 by Todd Murphy's impressive bowling.

However, on Sunday, Twitter users blamed Anand Mahindra, the chairman of the Mahindra Group, for Kohli's wicket.

In response to the Twitter backlash, Anand Mahindra tweeted in a light-hearted manner, saying that every time he switched on the TV, Kohli was getting out.

"I promise to switch off & not watch any more," he added.

One user named BALA commented on Mahindra's tweet, saying "I blame you for Virat's wicket." To this, Mahindra reacted with shocked emojis.

Other Twitter users also responded with humorous comments, such as threatening to cut Mahindra's cable connection or pointing out the typical mentality of cricket fans and This latest virat kohli news.

Despite Kohli's dismissal, India managed to demolish Australia by six wickets within three days of the second Test to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, thanks to superb bowling performances by Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin.

The third Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy will be played at the Holkar Stadium in Indore starting from 1 March.
